Membership Information

The West Highland White Terrier Club of America welcomes new members; please note however, admittance into the Club is not automatic.

All applicants must be sponsored by TWO members in good standing of
The West Highland White Terrier Club of America (WHWTCA).

Sponsors MUST be from two (2) separate households
AND must have been members for one year.

The Complete Membership Application Package consists of three documents: Membership Information, Membership Application and Sponsors Forms. For your convenience, they are available for download below in both Acrobat (Pdf) and Word (Doc) format. You will require the program Adobe Acrobat Reader to open the Pdf files. Note: Please be sure to download and print out the Complete Membership Application Package, otherwise your application will be incomplete.

IMPORTANT - PLEASE NOTE! If you do not know 2 WHWTCA members in good standing to sponsor you, please do NOT submit an application. Please consider attending several dog shows and/or joining a Regional Westie club so that you may become familiar with a number of WHWTCA members, and they may become familiar with you. It may take several years to gain membership in the WHWTCA. Nevertheless, we thank you for your interest, and we hope that you will consider a subscription to the Westie Imprint (the official publication of the WHWTCA) so that you may stay informed of WHWTCA news and activities.
