West Highland White Terrier Club of America

WHWTCA Club Awards

The West Highland White Terrier Club of America presents Annual Conformation and Performance awards recognizing the top West Highland White Terriers.  All owners of the winning dog must be WHWTCA members.

The purpose of the Registry of Merit (ROM) and Excellent (ROMX) program is to honor the producing achievements of sires and dams that have produced a specific number of champion offspring.

Performance Registry of Merit (PROM) and Performance Registry of Merit Excellent (PROMX)  are awarded to the dog/bitch who is a Champion of Record or has earned the VD Award, and meets specific requirements.

Awards in the Versatile Dog program are presented to members whose Westie achieves certain high levels of accomplishment in his or her lifetime.

The AKC Outstanding Sportsmanship Award honors those individuals who deserve special recognition that have made a difference in the sport of purebred dogs, embodied the AKC Code of Sportsmanship, and have been an active and valued member of an AKC member club.
